Italy offers a structured licensing pathway for healthcare professionals by the Ministry of Health. Registration with the relevant Ordine (medical or dental council) is required to practice. Enrollment in specialist training is compulsory, and it is by examination. The language requirement is typically B2–C1, depending on the region and employer.
